Winery #4: Dos Cabezas WineWorks

Calling all athletes, track teams & regular slow people like us:  we need you in training for team Dos Cabezas WineWorks!  Although we ran in a half marathon in Oregon this summer, our running program has taken a back seat to harvesting 60+ tons of grapes.  With the 2011 harvest season winding down, we have a running date scheduled for tomorrow to kick off our Great Arizona Grape Stomp 5k training.  We have 3 weeks to train to beat Tim Mueller of Canelo Hills.  We’re not quite ready to go after Lightning Ridge’s Ron Roncone, but perhaps one of our young recruits can take him.

Be sure to stick around for tastings after the run...we’ll pull out an extra wine or two for those of you with run bibs.  We’ve also been scheming a refueling dinner with Canela Bistro.  Stay tuned for details!
